When we saw the model pieces at the bid session, it brought tears to our eyes. We’d never seen scenery that looked like that; it was beautiful and magical and we wanted to be a part of it.

Paragon was contracted to make several scenic pieces that needed to be “clear”. We launched into a months-long R&D journey to figure out how to create the sculptures using clear-cast resin, how to make it FR without altering the clarity and translucency, how to make “invisible” framing and how to imbed all of the wonderful iridescent materials that the design team wanted to use.

It was worth all the trial and error, and all the effort. They looked beautiful on stage.
